The Canadians on D-Day: exhibition inquiry challenge


Activity Overview

Students will view use Honouring Bravery’s exhibition When Daylight Comes to gain an understanding and interpret the facts surrounding Canada’s and our allies’ assault and invasion of Nazi Germany’s foothold in France on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944. Students will then answer trivia and historical thinking questions. This activity can be used with both the physical exhibition (available to borrow or free) or the virtual version found here.
